When born with an arthrogryposis which made it impossible for her to lift her own arms, Emma’s parents sought to do something. Through working with Nemours Biomedical Research and Stratasys FDM printing technology, they discovered a way to create a durable yet lightweight exoskeleton to assist her.

Through working with Nemours Biomedical Research and Stratasys, the creation of an exoskeleton was built to improve quality of life.
